In the presence of representatives from the sports and education sectors. With the participation of a group of specialists and experts in Olympic values from the International Olympic Committee. The session began with a speech by H.E. Ms. Batoul Baroum, CEO of the Academy. In which she welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of spreading and promoting Olympic values in the Saudi sports community. This was followed by the first lecture given by Ms. Frederic Jamoli. Head of International Cultural Affairs at the International Olympic Committee. which provided a comprehensive introduction to the Olympic Values Education Program. She explained the role, vision and mission of the IOC in this context. The second lecture Introduced by Ms. Xenia Korguzova. Senior Director of Education at the International Olympic Committee It focused on best practices in program implementation. And how to operationalize these practices in future events. The session will be accompanied by a three-day workshop with the participation of 36 participants from the sports and education sectors. It aims to promote the understanding and application of Olympic values. Participants will be trained on how to integrate these values into their sports activities and programs. and incentivize them to spread it to the sports community. This contributes to building a sports culture based on Olympic principles. It is noteworthy that this program comes within the efforts of the Saudi Olympic Academy to spread awareness of the Olympic values and their application in the sports sector.
